Meet Kent Johnson
I realize asking for your vote for me to become the Trempealeau Sheriff is a big ask especially if you do not know my background so I want to shed light on some of that for you.
To start I am a certified law enforcement instructor, Firearms, Tactical Response, Civilian Response to Casualty Care aka Stop the Bleed, ALERT, as well as several other particular topics.
I love to teach and train others. A couple of weeks ago Grandview Care Center asked me to present a part of their in-service and continuing education. Not to long before that I held a FREE laidies only Firearm Safety class. This class meets the training requirements for concealed carry in Wisconsin and I've recently been asked to hold another Firearm Safety class, so that will be coming up very soon!
Additionally I recently co taught a portion of Active Threat training. I was assigned to work with our fire and EMS personnel and introduce them to what a Rescue Task Force (RTF) is. It's a dynamic method of introducing medical care quickly and efficiently in a mass casualty event. This subject matter has been a great passion of mine for several years. I'm very excited to say that there is more to come in this topic soon.
I truly love helping others. Sharing my experiences and knowledge is very rewarding and I plan to bring all of that knowledge with me and will continue to share it in the role of Sheriff for Trempealeau County!
